AgNi Contact Material

AgNi materials have good electrical and thermal conductivity, low and steady contact resistance, high welding resistance and arc erosion resistance under small and medium current and strong resistance to material transfer under DC conditions; AgNi materials have relatively poor welding resistance under medium and heavy current conditions. However, if used in pairs with AgC and other materials, its defect of poor welding resistance can be offset.


AgW Contact Material

AgW is one kind of silver-base electrical contact materials with tungsten frame which is produced by powder metallurgy method. It combines the excellent thermal and electrical conductivities of silver and the high melting point and small burning loss of tungsten. It has high hardness, low mechanical abrasion, excellent arc erosion resistance and fusion welding resistance. The AgW material has high brazed area ratio and welding strength, the small size contact can be used in automotive welding, and the large size contact with brazing material is easy and efficient to weld.

AgW contact materials are generally prepared by powder infiltration method, and also can be prepared by power sintering method according to the material usage requirements. AgW contact materials prepared by power sintering method do not only have the features of low resistivity, high melting point and ablation resistance of AgW-type products, but also have the advantages of unique optional welding layer materials and single compound of power sintering process. Meanwhile, for AgW-type materials prepared by this processing process, there is no pure silver layer on the working surface. This is beneficial to improve the breaking capacity of contacts, and they can be used as static contacts.

AgWCC Contact Material

AgWCC contacts are prepared by powder solid sintering method with high silver content, low hardness and low contact resistance. The addition of the third phase graphite improves the welding resistance and lubricity of the materials. It is generally used as static contact material and applied in pairs with other materials.

The addable copper layer can form AgWCC/Cu contact with, and the cost can be saved by 15%-30% without affecting the service performance of the product.


AgC Contact Material

AgC materials prepared by extrusion method have good welding resistance, low and steady contact resistance and small temperature rise, its welding resistance capacity will increase with the increase of graphite content, but its resistance will also increase and its conductivity will become worse.

Compared with ordinary AgC materials with vertical structure, AgC materials with parallel structure do not only change the structure of materials, but also change the motion mode of electrons in current; for AgC materials with parallel structure, their processing mode is different from that of ordinary AgC materials with vertical structure, and they can acquire denser AgC materials than ordinary AgC materials with vertical structure.


AgWC Contact Material

AgWC materials are prepared by tungsten carbide skeleton infiltration method with extremely high harness and resistance to electric wear. Its contact resistance is slightly higher than AgW materials and it has good welding resistance and high electric burn resistance. When high temperature is generated in the arc combustion process, the free carbon contained in WC materials can slow down the oxidation of tungsten or make tungsten reduction, slow down the overall oxidation of the material, and effectively improve the oxidation resistance of the contact and the stability of electrical performance under power-up state of the contact.
